Shawn represents healthcare tenants and buyers across Arizona, helping practice owners find, negotiate, and secure the space their business depends on.

Before joining CARR, Shawn spent more than a decade building and operating businesses in the Phoenix metro. He currently owns and operates Novel Ice Cream, a small-batch concept with locations all across Arizona. That work put him on the tenant side of the table for site selection, lease negotiation, permitting, and buildout, repeatedly. He has signed the leases, argued over TI allowances, managed contractors, and lived with the consequences of both good and bad deals. It is the same set of decisions his clients face, and it shapes how he advises them.

Shawn works with dental, medical, chiropractic, veterinary, optometry, physical therapy, pharmacy, fitness, and wellness practices. He supports startups, relocations, expansions, lease renewals, and building purchases, and his market covers greater Phoenix, including Scottsdale, Mesa, Tempe, Chandler, Gilbert, Peoria, and Glendale, along with Tucson and many other Arizona markets.

Like every CARR agent, Shawn exclusively represents healthcare providers. He never works for landlords or sellers, which means there is no divided loyalty in a negotiation. His work includes demographic and site analysis, market comparisons, lease and purchase negotiation, timeline management, and coordination with lenders, architects, and contractors so a project stays on schedule.

Shawn is based in Phoenix, where he also runs ParkSMB – in person events for local founders and operators. Outside of work, you will usually find him traveling the world or in the gym.
